Mauricio J. Rauld

As an educator at heart, Mauricio regularly travels around the country speaking to real estate investors on how the legal regulatory piece fits into the overall syndication and capital raising puzzle. Mauricio acts as legal advisor to KenMcElroy.com (Rich Dad Advisor and owner of 10,000 Units) and represents many well-known real estate syndicators, like Robert Helms (host of TheReal Estate Guys™ Radio Show) and Brandon Turner (former host of the Bigger Pockets podcast). Bethany L. LaFlam

Bethany LaFlam is an entrepreneur, a seasoned deal lawyer, a mother and a visionary. With more than 20 years experience practicing law, Bethany has leveraged that expertise into her business life. While her current role as Managing Partner of Premier Law Group focuses primarily on real estate syndications and funds, Bethany began her career in Big Law at the prestigious downtown Los Angeles law firm of Quinn Emanuel. Pursuing her dream of running her own business, she later launched a boutique business law firm in Newport Beach, California, advising clients on both legal and strategic matters, and representing businesses on startup, mergers and acquisitions and securities. To further develop her entrepreneurial passions, Bethany merged her practice into a mid-market Chicago based firm, Much Shelist, where she ran the firm’s California corporate practice.

Bethany’s clients have ranged from real estate syndicators and developers to aerospace to oil and gas services to medical services to various technology industries. Serving as a strategist to develop sustainable business models, advising on raising capital, and preparing for successful exits, Bethany was able to apply her legal knowledge to practical business settings. Bethany has consulted clients on commercialization and monetization, with a specific focus on sports and music tech.

Bethany grew up in Northeastern Ohio in a working-class family. Putting herself through Bowling Green State University for undergraduate and then Pepperdine University Law School, Bethany applied that Midwestern work ethic to earn her way to becoming an advocate for other women and underserved communities. Being a role model to her daughter, though, is the driving force behind everything Bethany pursues.

Satisfying her desire to serve, Bethany has also been an advisor to and held leadership and board roles with multiple non-profit corporations, including as a Founding Board Member of Team Kids, Inc. One of her greatest memories was as a group facilitator for the Living Peace Series where Bethany was able to see the Dalai Lama. At that talk, he said it was Western Women who would change the world and he spoke of the incredible impact of a mother’s love.

Jonathan Tavares

Born and raised in historic New England, Jonathan is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts and a licensed REALTOR® in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Florida. Jonathan has been in the real estate industry since 2007. He has 9 years of experience representing real estate investors as a licensed agent and spent 6 years as the V.P. of Operations at Tavares Home Solutions Inc., managing over 3,000 non-performing mortgage assets throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Jonathan is currently the company’s V.P. of Acquisitions and spearheads its redevelopment projects. When he's not working, Jonathan is enjoying the great outdoors with his wife and five children, spending the summers in New England and the winters in Florida.

Ashleigh Gilmer

With over 16 years of experience in the legal field, Ashleigh joined Premier Law Group in February 2022.  She is a detail-oriented, analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  As the Chief of Staff at PLG, she is a multi-talented professional and the right hand person to our Partners.  She is responsible for leading teams, easing communications, and uniting people across our firm to keep them moving forward and ensuring they are providing the white glove service that we are best known for.

Outside of her professional life, she loves spending time with her husband and two outgoing children.  On the weekends, you can find her at the hockey rink with her son or at a cheer competition with her daughter.  Born and raised in Louisiana, she loves cooking and LSU Football (Geaux Tigers!).
